The need to show the client’s offer online
Every project begins with a problem or need. The client came to me wanting to go public online and start attracting individual clients, to showcase her experience and skills through a portfolio website, and to clearly communicate her offerings.
Proposed solution:
A WordPress Elementor-based portfolio site, using a template from my premium Elements Kit library, visually aligned with the client’s personal brand.
Result:
The website quickly began to deliver results and accelerate the client’s career growth. New needs arose, leading to further collaboration.
Phase II – Appointment Booking Calendar
Manually scheduling client appointments was taking the client several hours a week. She wanted to free up this time for more sessions or to grow her brand.

Result:
- Clients choose a convenient date from available slots for either career mentoring sessions or free initial consultations.
- The available times are synced with the client’s Google Calendar and adapt automatically to her personal schedule. If she has a hair appointment in her calendar, that time won’t appear as available on the website. Booked sessions automatically show up in her Google Calendar.
The booking system I set up works like a personal assistant – day by day, month after month. - Clients receive automatic appointment confirmations, session cancellation policies, and payment information. They can cancel via a link in the confirmation email. A reminder is sent automatically 24 hours before the session. In short: the entire calendar management process is automated and fully personalized.
- Final outcome: A one-time investment in the booking system saved the client hours of daily admin work, all now successfully automated.
Phase III – Newsletter Integration
A need arose to manage different email communications for clients who had booked free vs. paid sessions. The client also wanted to learn how to use email marketing tools (MailChimp).
Solution:
- MailChimp training via a “Newsletter Support” consultation.
- Integration of the website and calendar booking forms with MailChimp
Automatic segmentation of contacts: “clients – free session” and “clients – paid session” - New subscribers added to respective segments automatically upon booking
- Newsletter opt-in in exchange for a free checklist – creating a new subscriber segment
We plan to continue developing the website as the client’s personal brand grows.
